Very proud of my two boys Zak & Max, (the two ‘weapons’ on the right!) – they continue to progress with their karate, and both reached another level in their grading last night. Their commitment to their sport is impressive , and I look forward to watching their intensity and strength improve as they develop. Big shout out to Sensei Gary (and wife Lynne) for their passion and support. It has been amazing to watch the Uechi Ryu dojo grow from a few people in a gym to a thriving…

I thought I would show some progress results of the 5:2 diet that I am on. I have lasted one week so far and believe it or not my stomach is starting to shrink. This is me after a morning swim at Semaphore. I was not sure whether my new mid life ‘rug’ would survive the beach test, and was pleasantly surprised:)

Great times in Sydney. Lunch at the Potting Shed Restaurant with the famous “Kevin Bacon” (the pig) followed by dinner at Mr Wong’s with The Chaplins. The Kung Pow Chicken was very hot after I ate the entire chilli by mistake – lucky Brett likes his chicken spicy!
